Ordered this for my daughter for her 8th birthday. It’s the night before and I just opened the box to charge it. Discovered it’s not the colour I ordered and it’s clearly a used unit. Full of scratches. And it doesn’t work.

Very unhappy with this purchase. To start with the hoverboard came in a very bashed up box and there was no manual included. There’s no brand name on it so you can’t even look it up online. After finding a similar-looking one on YouTube we followed the instructions given for charging and turning on, but it kept flashing a red light on one aide if the foot plate, beeping and no movement from the wheels. We looked up how to recalibrate it, but still no joy. We left the battery to go flat, then fully charged for 2+ hours and then it wouldn’t turn on at all! I wanted to return it but one can’t transport an item with a lithium battery inside on a passenger plane so it would have to go Cargo, which will cost more than the item is worth! So I am stuck with 1 very disappointed 11 year old, whose main Christmas present this was, and a faulty hoverboard! FURIOUS.
